Yea! Snow!

We received a foot of snow within three hours one day; the boys enjoyed watching the snow fall.

 

 Joseph likes to help Daddy shovel the walkway, but he especially loves the sled.  He was very excited to give his Grinchy a ride.

 

Of course, we had to make sure that Grinchy was nice and warm.

  

 Joseph even gave Daddy a ride!

William is still unsure what to think about that white, cold, powdery stuff.

Night Time for Jospeh

Joseph loves his big teddy bear.  He likes to sleep with it at night.

Closer to Walking...

William is almost 9 months and is trying to keep up with Joseph already.  He is deciding that crawling isn't enough.  He is starting to stand on his own, but now he just needs to take a few steps without support.

Camping

We went camping last weekend along the Gallatin River--it was a lot of fun.  Joseph loved being outside and had fun sleeping in the tent.  However, the nights got really cold, so we would end up having both boys cuddled with us in the morning.

On Saturday we hiked up squaw creek.  It was gorgeous, we could see for miles!  We were on top of the peaks where wildflowers covered the ground.  There was even a few snow patches!

This was the area that we were trying to locate for Brian's potential hunting area.  We could see it from a distance, but it took us a while to find it.  It was pretty cool because behind Brian there was a huge cliff.

All by Himself!

This morning Joseph put his pants on all by himself for the very first time.  We were so proud of him!  However, mommy had to zip the "back" for him.

Naps are for Babies...

Joseph wasn't wanting to take a nap today, but mommy made him stay in his room for quiet time for an hour.  When she went to check on him at the end of the hour, she found him fast asleep on top of his dresser. 

William also likes to sleep in odd places...

Closer to Two!

Joseph is getting closer to being 2 years! (Though he has been acting like a two year old for a year already!)  He is starting to speaking more clearly everyday and he is becoming more interested in the toilet (YEA!!)  It is amazing how fast he is changing!
