Virginia and Nevada City of the Old West

Last Monday we went to Virginia and Nevada City. These were Gold Mining towns of Montana. They are basically ghost towns now...just tourist attractions. Nevada City, however, doesn't have any buildings there that are original, but does have old buildings that have been moved there for protection and for tourists. Nevada City also has the largest music gallery in which it contains the old music machines that you have to put a quarter in to make it play the old time songs.

Between these two towns, about 300 million dollars of gold was taken out within three to five years!
